increased cardio Sundays to 1hr
still battling to improve time over 5k - week ahead to add pace changes to jogging.

Are you running or walking the distance? If u're running: why not incorporate some speel work to up the overall fitness and help with the pace. Real easy and works everytime!!

Thanks skinny! Started that today. Had a good jog alternating my pace. Tiring as hell but ran a good personal time . Started mostly using tree or poles as markers.

Are u at a gym? I do speedwork on the treadmil as well, and it works great! But I also started with lamp posts. Virgin active's treadmills has a new setting where u cab write u're own program. I use that one and then write a speed and incline workout. Ps. I'm only starting to run now again since having our baby. But wanna join the little one at the gym so I can also improve my pace again.

No I'm doing road work! Started the 5k Parkrun few weeks back so trying to improve my time weekly. sticking to 5k and less. other days weights and station cycling. Congrats on you becoming a mommy. Good luck and train hard xx
