Doing well, but am a bit sore. I went with some friends to the Snoqualmie Forest Ranger center yesterday morning where we did a 4½ hour snowshoe hike through the mountain trials. The trip included a 600 foot elevation gain in the first ½ mile and a lot of trail blazing through 2ft of new snow (on top of 8 feet of packed snow!). It was an amazing trip and a heck of a way to celebrate losing 100 lbs.
I got home about the same time my wife got off work and we headed into town for a nice dinner. We did a bit of shopping before-hand and while asking a salesman where I could find a particular type of pants I was told something I never thought I would hear in my life: “They are right over here, but I am not sure we have anything that will fit you -- we only have the larger sizes left.” Made my day.
