I keep forgetting to step on the scale before breakfast. But I did this morning and still maintaining. *sigh*
Made protein powder pancakes for breakfast with cocoa and a dash of cinnamon. Sort of Mexican hot chocolate pancakes. They were tasty but dry. I really need to figure out a less dry recipe. More oil?
The last hurrah of birthday dinners is tonight at a Persian restaurant with bellydancing. This has been a great birthday for amazing, yet low carb feasts.

Yeah to maintenance though I gather you would rather be losing - heck wouldn't we all! Enjoy the rest of your b'day celebrations and thanks for the nice comments on my journal.

I would add more oil and maybe a touch of cream? Not sure, but I understand what you mean. My favorite pancakes are Bisquik variety, thin cakes, and they do have a lot of "shortening" in the mix...maybe some coconut oil would work. Anyway, enjoy your last b'day hurrah...bellydancing...how exotic! Hugs and happy birthday (belated though it is)!

Hmm, they probably won't let me do a link in a comment. But this is my current recipe - http://www.fatsecret.com/recipes/rec-0ff7c4b07e2548098f8370ee622e3344/Default.aspx - it has a TBSP of olive oil and a TBSP of cream. I really like the taste but they are dry.
