Since my last weigh in, on the 15th of May, I did:
16th May - 22km hike cross country 19th May - 11km hike 23rd May - 19km hike 24th May - 12 km hike 26th May - 6 km hike 30th May - 10 km hike 31st May - 12 km hike 1st June - 12 km hike 5th June - 6 km hike 6th June - 12 km hike 7th June - 16 km hike 10th June - 16 km hike 13th June - 8 km hike 15th June - 10 km hike 16th June - 5 km city walk 17th June - 4.5 km city walk 20th June - 12 km hike plus 2 km jogging
In total I have pounded out 183.5 km (115 miles) in the last month. In addition, I have been doing sit-ups and press-ups and can now comfortably do 100 reps. That is on top of carefully monitoring my diet. Absolutely no treats all month. Just my regular lunch and dinner with careful portion sizes.
So, I am just a bit disappointed that after all this I have only gone down 1 kg (2.2.lb) this month.
On the positive side, I can see a change in my body shape. The upper part of my belly looks thinner while the lower part looks more droopy. I also feel considerably fitter with much more energy and stamina. So I guess I've not lost much weight because I have swapped fat for muscle.
