Over the winter, I gained. Particularly poor performance in April/May. My wife bought in a stock of German chocolate bars and I couldn't help but indulge. I have been giving in to temptations all too often.
However, the last month I have been pounding up and down the mountains behind my house. I've been doing about 40 to 50 km per week. I am happy with the level of exercise I did and I'm hoping to see a reduction on the scales next time I look.
However, today I'm feeling fat.
I had planned to get out exercising on four days this week (Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed) but I've only managed Monday and then didn't do the distance I had wanted to do. Just a perfect storm of work, family and weather conspiring against me.
