Exhausted from yesterday's vacation day. Didn't get out of bed in time to do my workout this morning. Today is an "Easy" day anyway - just walking, so I'll head over to the waterfront at lunch time and get my walk in. 227.0 lbs. this morning - a little too good to be true - probably not enough water yesterday. We'll see.

Well, I took a nice easy walk for about 40 minutes along the riverfront. Just a comfortable moderate pace; I could still sing "De Do Do Do De Da Da Da" without breaking up - but not without cracking up. It's the silliest thing, but I love the tempo as I'm approaching the finish line. Beautiful outside! Wind started kicking up; you could tell it's blowing in some weather.

What a difference 26 lbs. makes! I can't even imagine how people must feel that have lost 75 to 100 or more pounds. I've always carried my weight fairly well, but I really started struggling with doing normal daily things like going up and down stairs and playing with the dogs. I already feel 20 years younger; I can't wait until I've lost another 50. I'm shrinking; I'm shrinking!
