WoooHOOO! I'm over 50 lbs down from my starting weight of 266.6 on June 1st! Thrilled does not cover how I felt this AM when I stepped on the scales. Losing the weight is getting easier but it's the maintenance part that is SO daunting to face. I can't see me weighing and measuring everything from now til I die! I've been reading up on all kinds of diets and it seems that no matter what method you use to loose the lbs, most diets fail in the MAINTENANCE PHASE!!! I'm determined not to be a loser, not after I have come this far in 4 1/2 months. To get my BMI under control (acording to the AMA) and not be considered obese, I'll need to loose about another 50 lbs but I was hoping to do that anyway. My ulitmate goal is to lose HALF my starting boby weight. Does any one else out there want/need to do the same?

I need to do that too! I started this about a week ago and am down about 2 lbs already! I want to get down to about 150/160 and started at almost the same weight that you did... I just read your food diary and think you are doing an awesome job! I am eating a bit more than you did...so I should probably try to cut back, although I am doing good on not eating carbs... So, keep up the good work! I hope soon I am with you in losing 50 lbs and then 100!!! We will get there :)
