lost control and went nuts over holidays....put on pounds. Well if I'd just gone nuts I may have been alright. I went cookies, pie etc.

Glad you're here. Getting the diet going today means you've got a head start on the rush of January 1st. Psssst: cleaning out all the crappy carbs in the kitchen (sweets, crackers, chips) and donating them to a food bank/church will help those who actually need the extra calories.
