This is basically what I'm doing already. I'm checking out macro-nutrient balance now as well. Going for 40 carbs 30 fat 30 protein as going any lower than 40% carbs seems too difficult. Will cut to 60kg then switch to 50/25/25 and up to 2k calories. That's the long plan anyway.. Aim is 60kg by 1st Feb. May as well do a before and after for motivation:
