Wooooo! 152.9! More loss than expected. I think it was becasue I was too food-picky this week. I didn't really make a major attempt to eat well. Even though I might not make all of the best choices, overall I burn more calories walking around campus than I eat in the cafeteria I guess. Even with dessert.

I tend to try and balance out each of my meals at 400-500 calories, with a couple snacks that range from 100-200 calories, like a banana or a 100-cal pack of yogurt covered pretzels. My breakfast is always multi-grain cheerios with some 2% milk, so around 250 calories. I don't eat a mid-morning snack, but I do have a night snack. So 250 + 500 + 200 + 500 + 200 = 1650 give or take 200 calories. So, with this eating pattern, at the most I tend to consume about 1850 calories. My RDI to maintain is about 1900. If I did nothing, I would only have a net 50 calorie loss. So all the walking I do must really add up! That and doing Kendo twice on the weekends. There are probably other factors too.


Losing fat is good and all, but I want to get back into strength training so I'll have something there when the excess fat is gone! I'd rather be a toned 125 instead of a flabby 125. For one, being toned at any weight makes you look so much slimmer! Also muscle burns more fat than fat does.

I didn't get to the gym this week because I was so busy studying for tests in four of my classes...I'm surprised I'm still alive, lol!

So, I'm going at a good pace. 5 more weeks until the Halloween weigh in. This week, since it's not insane, I want to go do some strength training this week. And I want to be under 152. Let's do this!!!!
