I'm reading "The Power of Decision" by Raymond Charles Barker. He reminds us that the power to make change is an internal decision, and that when we make the choice and fully commit to our decision, we have the unlimited and powerful force of consciousness on our side working on our behalf.

I'm grateful for this website, in part because it reminds me that there are people everywhere who have decided to expand their lives. People who are willing to be temporarily uncomfortable in order to reach new goals. That's what we are doing. Taking charge of our lives and assuming complete accountability. What I look forward to is the day that I am fully aware that how I am eating is no longer a "diet" but a way of living.

I enjoy reading your journal. I am totally with you. I'm also looking at how to get the subconscious to work for us too.

Thank you, Jill. As you've studied, the subconscious mind believes in and acts upon what we tell it. I've been working on my thoughts and making a genuine effort to catch myself when I'm thinking self-critical thoughts so that I can replace them with more loving thoughts. It sounds like you do the same thing:)
