In blue zones, rice and beans are the only source of food. Here in America we need to cut down. the beans serve as your own bio digester. However, it keeps you more healthy as a result. Your body is similar to a waste treatment plant and for bigger people, the waste is actually trapped in your body. The beans act as the processor to vacate those deposits from your system. Limit your meat intake to 5 times a month. The same protein will come from the beans. The rice will keep you energized. Hope that helps all those who don't believe me. It's science.
