Well the tracking didn't last long, no big surprise. Weight loss is also slower than expected, but I suppose it shouldn't have been considering last week's July 4th celebration. Anyway, back at it I suppose.

Do you find tracking isn't an effective and/or sustainable for you? And are you trying to go too fast? I saw where you posted last week about expecting to lose 3-4 pounds in a week -- that's pretty extreme. Remember, the best diet is the one that works for YOU and that you can stick to, and you're in this for the long haul

I second what Writingwyo is saying. It is too easy to expect the impossible from ourselves, and then deride ourselves into quitting because we didn't achieve the impossible. Track honest; then review your day and find the one item you ate that really just was not worth the damage it did to your health - and quit or reduce that one bad eating habit. Then the next day find the next best eating habit to change. etc... You are unique. No one else has your exact eatinghabits. You need to find what you need for you.
