Seriously don't know why I waited so long to cleanse....I feel like Bill (Draglist), melting off like butter :). For now that is....eventually it'll stall once the excess junk is gone, but for now I'll definitely take it!

So I woke up at 415 and was WIDE AWAKE, I was planning on running this morning so I ended up having plenty of time...my first time running since I hurt my back a few months ago. Taking into account that I was not a very experienced runner before that, I'm pretty happy to announce I made it 2 miles without stopping @ 10:35/mile :) That's almost better than what I was doing BEFORE I hurt myself...crazy! Love it! I have a 5k mud run at the end of the month so I'm pretty hopeful that I will be A-Okay, good to go for it!

You beast, that is awesome maybe if you had bacon before your run, you could have went 3 miles, lol. You are doing great keep it up.

I wish I had your motivation for running! I have a 5k at the end of the month as well and totally dreading it, I can only go about 1k before i have to stop which is awful :/

That's not awful!!! That's how you start, run a bit, walk a bit...every time you go just run a bit farther between intervals than the time before, even if it's half a block...and then connect the dots....that's how I started and I guarantee every other runner on here will say that too!!! I make mini-goals for myself when I go, like I'll stop at that stop sign, just make sure it's a little bit farther than you think you can go...you can totally do it!

Thanks :) I guess I feel defeated even before I start which therefore ends up limiting my progress. I will try harder, I can do this! Next run scheduled for tomorrow eve, fingers crossed!

Haha I want some Bacon to I can smell it frying on the stove in my head. And your right when I used to run all the time you start out stop if you need to and just keep going a little further and a little faster everyday.

Yep, what Socolova said, just walk/run as much as you need and eventually it gets much easier and even enjoyable.and way to go Socolova!

Thanks guys! No drop today, but I have super sore muscles so I know I'm retaining some water and lactic in those legs :)
