So... I have a few things I think contributed to this one. I'm pretty sure this is all water weight. I had been drinking 196 oz of water a day plus about 50 oz of tea. My system felt fine with the amount of hydration I'd been getting but I was wondering if water retention was part of the reason I'd been jumping back and forth between 198 and 197lbs recently. At the beginning of the week I decided I'd lower my intake to 168oz. I measure my intake by drinking out of the big 28 oz VOSS bottles, I love glass! I went from seven bottles to six and I think that is the biggest reason for this drop. A few days ago I also, at my endocrinologist's request, started up on metformin again... >,< so that might have a little to do with this too. Who knows... Yes, its hard to tell sometimes what is going on with our bodies. Water can the scale fluctuate like crazy. I can't believe you drink all that water, lol! Most of the stuff I have read, you only need 8 cups a day (unless hot or you are very active). But if it makes you feel okay and is okay with your doctor! Look at your chart. You are doing amazing!
