Well, the scales are still creeping down with a 0.8lbs loss this week, taking my total to 14.2lbs lost. It feels good to have finally hit my first stone milestone, which I'm more than happy with.

Back to swimming last week and went Monday and Friday which I have been really enjoying. The scales might only been creeping slowly, but I have no doubts that swimming has been helping to whittle away inches and tone muscle. I'm trying not to get so pent up on scale numbers, as taking measurements and how clothes fit are a much better measure of progress.

I have been reading about something called body recomposition... losing fat and building muscle at the same time by exercising - all interesting stuff. It certainly explains why scales might not move much, but we still get thinner. Muscle and fat weigh the same, but toned muscles take up much less space.

Well, I never thought I'd say it, but I've actually missed not going out walking the last couple of days. Hubby and I did go walking 3 days last week and incorporated some different routes, so we don't get bored. But, I'm already looking forward to this weeks adventures.
