Along my journey with complex-PTSD and my eating disorder. I've just discovered the most amazing information of maladaptive coping skills which for me stems from the domestic violence within the home, triangulation of bullying, being shamed, self esteem and self worth. Through reading my thumb sucking as a baby-toddler, to coping with eating to numb myself as well as the MD called maladaptive dreaming where I would see myself at my own funeral because being dead was comforting. That's how bad it was, however this book... Rewiring your negative thoughts into growing your good thoughts and positivity. Is AMAZING! I haven't been binge eating, making continued better healthy eating decisions, while not suffering or feeling like I am restricting myself and way less self negative talk. Have a wonderful weekend and remember you are okay, you are enough, and celebrate all the small good moments. Don't focus on mistakes, that is self destructive and not healthy. let it go...
