That does suck. You might not believe it now, but it will get much better. Sounds like he dosent deserve you.

Yikes. I am so sorry to hear this! 

35 years ago something similar happened to me…I had all these thoughts of red rage. Keying his truck, spraying messages etc. i could not believe i was so capable of even thinking like that, tho i was 25. Fortunately my clear and rational and law abiding nature took over and i vowed to live a better, happier life. Be my best self. And i have to say i did and it was rewarding. He and i are in a good place now. I wish him happiness and peace but it was a long road to get there. You deserve better. Be your best self and always take the high road. This will be a blip one day in your life.

So sorry to hear...😠 stay strong and hopefully you have a good support system as it can get difficult! Went thru it myself many years ago and then met the love of my life.  

My divorce was the best thing that ever happened to me.  

I’m so sorry you’ve been treated so poorly by the person who was supposed to have your back. That’s a really painful experience. Focusing on you right now and being your best self sounds really healthy. He deserves to regret his actions for the rest of his life. Hang in there. His infidelity is the result of his own stupidity/entitlement/issues and has nothing to do with your worth, so don’t let those thoughts creep in. 

Living well is the best revenge, It hurts now but, someday you may look back & realize that this split was the catalyst to a better, happier, healthier & wiser you.  

Everyone here is making the assumption of divorce, but you could just have a polyamorous relationship and start bringing home lovers of your own. What do you want most? Do you love him? is sexual fidelity an emotional issue for you? Are there guys/girls you'd like to shag too? Monogamy is a patriarchal construct so maybe it's not actually real.  

Living well is the best revenge. Good luck to you and may you find it is a change for the good.
