I think I need to lay low on the Ezekiel Bread! UUugh... I've been nibbling here and there and I guess it's catching up. Today I will stay POP, especially because tomorrow we go out all day and I might encounter bad p3 foods, meaning eating out! It can either go great and I take my food, stay away from anything in my house all day and simply eat what I pack or we eat out and encounter food that I might want, which again, I don't have much cravings so I don't know we will see.
I still feel great though! And it's not that I've been eating bad I think it's that I've been eating a lot of the good stuff. I will try to lower my portions.

Yes, what I have found is that I can handle just so much carbs. Yesterday I ate out and had half a gluten free chocolate caky thing (very rich - maybe too much normal sugar!?). Last night I had a few glasses of red wine with a healthy low carb chicken meal, and some fruit and plain yoghurt afterwards. This morning I was up 600g ... It seems that I must stay off double dose of carbs in one day (wine and gluten free carb things). Perhaps what we need to do, is plan a "cheat" day and do this regularly enough so as not to feel deprived, but enough time apart for the body to get back to 'normal'. It sure is a work in progress. I have learned so much about my body on this diet : )

I had the same thing with Ezekiel bread. It was delicious and I had about two slices per day - but it seemed to keep the carb craving active. I now have eliminated it!

Yep, thats what I thought ... the more I let the more healthy sweet things creep into my eating regime, the more I craved them. Since I have been off coffee (dont want it now that I have cut out the stevia), I am preferring tea with low fat milk and no sugar ... the sweet thing cravings have lessened : ) but I still need to watch the refined carbs, even the gluten free options because the bought gluten free treats are high in refined sugar. So back to the drawing board. Its good to share this with you, because I see that I am not that unique : ) : ) : )

You are right Linda... I've found a great diet that I want to permanently adapt to, called "Carb Cycling" by Chris Powell... you eat 2 low carb day, 1 high carb day (but healthy carbs) and 2 low carb days then Sat High carb and then SUNDAY.... GUESS WHAT!!!??? CHEAT DAY! Yes you can eat all you want, what ever you want! Now, before you start yelling at me, "what? I'd gain." "I don't know about that!" I have to remind you guys that it's on p4 that I plan on implementing this aaaaand it involves working out, not full on crazing working out but yes, Cardio and weight training on the high carb days and simply weight training on the low carb days. Sat and Sun are off. I think it's a great plan because what happens, I crave, crave, crave and instead of feeling bad and give in every other day, I just write down what I want and save it for Sunday... (or Sat) and get to REALLY enjoy it and not feel deprived! That's all I want to be able to be free to enjoy the bad food (just a tiny bit) without the guilt! But still feel control over myself that I can stay at a good weight and feel healthy 90% of the time. :) I have the book if you guys want to get it. I also have some pinterest pins for the plan. I'm already planning it. hehehe.
