I did okay yesterday. Felt a bit weak, so I bought us a couple of steaks, which Mr C grilled. It was the best steak I've ever eaten. Also had asparagus, and for a treat, strawberries dotted with a bit of cream cheese and a dusting of sugar. I have to wean myself off sugar. So addictive. But at least I avoided bread and rice entirely yesterday.
It still amazes me that I can eat a big steak dinner and wake up weighing less than the day before. I swear, bread converts straight to fat overnight, but protein is a fat burner. At least that is what I've observed over the last few years of weight watching here.
I also passed up the McD's free coffee yesterday because the caffeine could be the cause of my afternoon fatigue.
Went for a nice 1.3-mile walk with my dog this morning. The weather is so gorgeous. It put me in a great frame of mind.
