Yesterday I did 41 minutes at the gym. I won't be going to the gym again till Sunday as I have an official event this evening and tomorrow afternoon Gail and I will be going to see Die Walküre being telecast live from the Met. It's our hope to see the Met's entire Ring Cycle (with Bryn Terfel as Wotan) over the next couple of years. Das Rheingold a few months back was wonderful. The simulcast operas are actually better than being in the theatre (you get backstage views, interviews with the principals, and a closer view than the audience in Lincoln Center). We've been enjoying going to them over the past year and a half (we've seen some excellent productions).
My weight is down again this morning, by a whole pound, after almost a week of hovering. I'm very pleased. Still a long way to go, but the goal is that much closer.
