We have to go with the ups and downs, throw that one under the rug and forget about it.... tomorrow is another day, Just be proud of what you are doing and just remember how long it took to accumulate those pounds, so in time they will disappear, yes Onward ho.. you can do it!!!!!

Thanks everyone! Just grateful to maintain. And yes, it took quite a while to put on those pounds, so I'm really fine overall with it coming off gradually. Gives me more time to acquire new clothing items, one thing at a time.

TeacherTry, I think you're right about us having a lot in common. My older brother and I are the only ones in our generation to have ANY issue with weight. My mom has always been larger. My husband was very thin and athletic until maybe ten years ago. Every couple years he works hard and drops 35 lbs. He doesn't suffer from any physical disability like me, so he can exercise easily. My three children all inherited my dad and my husband's builds and stay thin easily. They all tower over me (daughter is 5'9", sons are both 6'). I have to watch them all eat whatever they want. So, I can relate to what you're going through. And yes, I have been at this since late January and, although things have slowed down considerably, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Technically, though, I could stand to lose another 10 lbs. after I reach this goal. I'm not sure if I want to keep working toward that.
