Been busy busy the last few days. The visit to my friends house went very well. Ended up a little sunburned from the field day, but it tanned out by the next day.

The Art/Pork Festival was wonderful!! And I ate pretty healthy at it. Ended up just buying an ear of corn roasted in the husk, rolled in butter then sprinkled with a garlic/salt/pepper seasoning. And we bought a pound of pulled pork and brought it home. Ate it on a lite bun so the calories weren't too outrageous. The Art was lovely. :) And I gave them my name and address to let me know when they need entries next year. I will probably enter the photography, drawing, or painting competition. I dabble in about everything, and it would be sooo much fun to be involved in something artistic once again.

My sister came up for the weekend. And we had a Great day at the park fishing in the pond, picnicking, and just playing. ^.^ We had to find a little stick for Jules and put a line and bobber on it so she could fish too. lol. We caught about 4 little fishes. And the giant carp that inhabit the pond stole a hook. Sunny, windy and wonderful out. :)

For dinner tonight I'm combining leftovers and with some sautéed onions and carrots. Then we clean out the fridge because it's garbage night. Also got the recipes picked out for the week, and really looking forward to cooking them! :D
