Tuesday morning and I just realized how early I woke up on this 12th day of April. I went to bed around 9:30PM, tired and I slept well. I put a load of clothes in the washer and let the dogs out. The morning seems quiet as the birds are still resting and I don't hear a train or sirens in the distance. I like the peace this time of day.

I hope I had enough rest for the crunch time taxing day in the office that is ahead of me. Yesterday I learned the post office cut back services drastically and we have to have our mail in an hour and 45 minutes earlier or go to the post office 6 miles out to a not so desireable part of town. When I arrived there yesterday at 5:40PM the boxes were on overflow. (Deep Breaths are in order)

This happens every year as my boss has a difficult time with time management in my opinion. Her personality seems to need the stress of last minute to light a fire under her butt which is frustrating. Every year I get to answer the phone while I am assembling the completed tax returns for the mail or pick up and talk to the people who are wondering when they will get there tax return. I feel for them but there isn't much I can do or say except that I am taking the phones so Lynn can keep the momentum up in processing the tax returns that are still not processed. Most come back year after year but I need a beer. Lol.
