Good Morning, FS Warriors!
I don't want you all to think that I've been ignoring you; I've been down with a stomach bug the last couple days. I haven't been to work either. I won't elaborate on the symptoms, as I'm sure you're well aware of them. I skipped a couple days of running, but I was determined not to lose ground. I have worked too hard to let a queasy stomach sabotage my efforts. I didn't get up quite as early as usual, but I did go down and get on the treadmill. Half-way through the first cycle, I had to pause the machine to answer Nature's call, but I returned and finished the workout. It wasn't easy, but I felt better for having accomplished it. I'm now half-way through this stage of the program, and if all goes well, I'll be running 30 continuous minutes again in 5 days.

I had a couple gluttonous days last week, and I guess the bug kept me from gaining. I had very little to eat yesterday, even the thought of beanie weenies or pulled pork made me want to gag. I settled for chicken noodle soup for lunch and a banana and yogurt yesterday evening. I have drank gallons of water. After my run, I had some oatmeal with honey, and I feel pretty good, but tired. My plan is to run in the morning, and if I'm able to do that and still feel human, I will go to work. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. Toodles!

Seems a lot of folks are coming down with some sort of intestinal virus. Hope you get through it quickly.

:-( .... Good work on getting your run in... The 'stop' dip, looks a bit hot!!! It wasn't curry that gave you a queasy tummy by any chance was it? LOL

ha, sk1nny, curry would have been worth it! Just a 24 hour thing, apparently.
