Maintenance Day 21
Waist = 35"; Up 3/4"

Delusion is a cancer on progress.

For logistical reasons that likely only make sense to me, and with which I will refrain from boring you, my scale is downstairs and my tape measure upstairs. So when I started measuring waist daily, I ordered a second myotape off Amazon. Opened it up and used it today. Downstairs measurement, unlike upstairs, is in front of a mirror. This enabled me to see that the pressure from the little spring that holds the tape in place so that you can measure with one hand was sufficient to significantly indent the love handles, which are basically gush at this point. Relieving the pressure enough to relieve the indents gets me to around 35", although it's difficult to get an exact measurement.

In some sense, it doesn't even matter. My truth is that I am not going to be happy until I get this shit off my body and whether the tape says 4" or 40" is immaterial. That said, optimistic measurement encourages complacency.
