There, I just recorded my "new" weight. I feel like an alcoholic that slipped. I not only gained back all the weight I lost last year, but a few friends joined in. Ah well, back to the ol' drawing board! I think that maybe I lost the weight by cutting calories too much, and it may have slowed the metabolism a bit. It's tempting to go back on that low-calorie diet just to get the weight off, but considering this rebound I'm not sure how wise that would be. Full disclosure: I just came back from a vacation in Hawaii where I did a fair amount of drinking, LOL! Surprisingly, I only gained 2 lbs from that, and one is already gone, so there's that. I expect I'll be at 146 lbs tomorrow, which is where I was before the vacation. My plan for the rest of this week is to skip alcohol, eat the meals I did before vacation & get in my regular exercise. I'll do about 35-40 minutes on my treadclimber, followed by about 20 minutes of toning/abs work. Then starting Sunday I'll (hopefully) do some meal-planning of the low-cal/high-protein variety. In other news, I'm fully vaxxed & no longer have to wear a mask at work, YAY!!!
