Failed to make my latest 24 hour fast again. Same routine. Evening food prep, feeding the fam, take a little sample, and go from there. Couple things have changed since last Spring's successful fasting based cut, all of which make adherence to my extended fasting protocol a challenge. My youngest is back home and he literally doubles the household food load. He also loves to cook and we cook together. He also does IF, so he is ravenous in the afternoons almost exactly when I hit my daily fasting wall. Now that I think about it, this is THE issue...

Good news is that I did a decent shop and prep which will help minimize kitchen work during the coming week. Have 4 gallons each of chicken and beef stock working, 10# of cilantro lime pork shoulder in the cooker ready to pull (folks coming over tonight), another 20# of pork "cushions" ready to smoke (probably going to freeze half of that), about 10# of hanger steak cleaned and prepped(which the boys will cook for themselves), and pie crust for 2 pans. Gonna smoke up the pork and bake up a quiche for pop, which is one of the few things that he will self serve. Also bought a whole ribeye and am going to cut and sous vide a couple steaks so that I am just a quick pan sear away from a plan conforming refeed.

I think it might also be useful to get a couple Cole Robinson videos back into my YouTube rotation....

@MC.Right! That was my goal FOR SB Sunday! Ridiculous. Especially since I weighed in at 199 on 12/26.
