Ketones 0.0 this morning due to eating pecan pie and tortilla chips yesterday. Ugh!!#@!# Logged food estimates this morning. Clearly I need to start weighing and measuring foods again and drop the sugar and grains due to carbs. My body is super sensitive to the sugar and carbs. What I need now is to fast. Feasting days have come and gone. Getting rid of fat is part of the goal. Autophagy is also needed. I most surely have old damaged cells to get rid of in addition to the toxins stored in the fat cells. At this time in my life, I believe my carrying excess is a serious health and mobility risk. I can only do what I can to better my health. I can't repair years of abuse and neglect in a day. I don't like seeing the recent upward blip in my weight history even though it's just 5 or 6#s. What else can I do to control myself? I am keeping busy. I am leaving the house (and the temptation) to enjoy the out if doors. I remember that my friend stopped smoking. The program she went to told her to have a list of things to do so that when the urge came she could distract herself until the urge passed. The urge to eat passes too. It comes in waves. I need to learn to surf those waves.

I had a few days out of ketosis as well. Did not care for it. Back yesterday. I think you are doing great. The scale sometimes goes up and down. We sometimes stray but as long as we come right back it is all fine. It is not a straight line
