Well, I've been under severe stress for the past 2 years. Whe I'm under that type of stress I become very ill. I find it difficult to eat. I find it difficult to keep food down. To make matters worse... when I'm under stress my thyroid levels seem to fluctuate. I became depressed and I didn't want to do anything, so the tiny bit of weight I did lose came back with a vengence. But that's behind me.
Monday, I'm starting on a diet (low carb, low fat). A kind of Kimkins/Atkins. This time I'm not doing it alone. Two friends of mine are doing it with me. The only thing that worries me is that this diet is extremely low in calories and very high in protein. I live on a very limited budget & am not sure how I'm going to manage. Both of my friends have to lose about 40/50 lbs. That's a third of what I need to lose. I'm worried, but I'm hoping that I have their support after they are finished losing their weight.
