Whats eating you :) Life offers things we cannot control but gives us a choice as to how we will react and feel. What can you control? This is a question that has been helpful when I find myself going over my R.D.I. because between 1200 and 1700 calories is enough to keep me satisfied and not physically hungry. When I eat over the recommended Daily Intake it is because I have turned to food for comfort and joy because it gives me a temporary feel good feeling to sooth my emotional hunger.

Mind over matter, Mind over food and exercise, it is your choice only...I am the only one responsible for what is put into my mouth and choose to put mostly nutritious foods and track what I am eating because it makes me feel better in the short and long term. I allow for some treats but keep my calories within my R.D.I. Everyday I find an hour just for me to exercise and sort my brain. This time is not forced but planned, I protect my exercise time and intake of food because I feel better when I am in control of my food and exercise.

I am going to use this writing to you in my journal today because while I was typing this to you I was reminding myself. I have a nagging problem that I need to resolve but choose to resolve it without giving up on my exercise, food plan or me. We can do this. We are so worth the effort. TOWANDA!!!!
