Well, howdy everybody. Sorry I have been gone so long, so much has been going on I have had no time to even log-in.
We bought a house!!! I am so excited!!! It means everything to me because We lost the house I lived in for 18 years to forclosre a little over 3 yrs ago. I was just devaststed and thought I would never have a chance to own my own home again.
Then the place i have worked for for over 12 years was bought by another company,more bad news (so i thought). BUT because of the change of employers i had the chance to cash in some money and was able to buy a house!!!!
It is an old 2 story, 1926 wood frame home on an acre. Really needs work but I got it at a steal!!! We are knee deep in repairs and I start painting this weekend...no turkey for me, my family is skipping the dinner and working the 4 day weekend instead!!
Somehow managed to loose more weight- 1st big goal almost met- GET UNDER 200 POUNDS!!
Almost there...just 5o more to go!!!
