well, I guess I need to walk more and start exercising If I want to continue see weight lost

Blkbear, I just wanted to mention...I noticed you listed an Atkins shake today. Those stall my weight loss BADLY. Sometimes I can get away with having one every two weeks or so, but I notice a huge weight loss difference when I don't use them. Don't give up! Maybe just cut out the Atkins bars/shakes for a couple weeks and see if it makes a difference?

Ooops, sorry, forgot to add...at least 12-15 net carbs a day should come from veggies on the allowed foods list. I noticed that you hardly eat any. If those net carbs are replaced instead with bars/shakes/empty calories everyday, well-- that can also stall the losses...

That might be the case I have moved to Phase 2 (owl), and for the last year I have use the shakes and bars. Usually by the end of day with a huge salad or veggies I get close, but this is the first time I was really no change in a 2 week period. I'll try to drop the shakes and bars and see what happens...Thanks for the info RavenSoul I really appreciate it

you know there were so many things I wish I had done before starting this change in eating habits; I failed to measure myself, well I was so concern (well, not really that concern because I know I've lost a lot in the past year) about not losing any weight for the last 2 week when I put on my pants to head out to work it felt like I had lost some inches even if no pounds came off. I want to thank everyone for their interest especially you RavenSoul I wish I had come here sooner for insight and a pat on the back or kick in the butt what even I happen to need that week. Rest assured even though I don't have a good idea about this 2nd phase I will continue this new way of eating

Bear, you are such an inspiration to me...there have been times that I've needed to remind myself that even though I have a long way to go to my goal that I, too, can finally lose this weight. I should be thanking YOU for helping me to remember that this IS possible! :D
