BBQ night at my friend's last night and I opted for the chicken over the pork. That was a small victory for me, bbq pork addict that I am. Went to Mom's today and managed to limit myself to one piece of California roll. That was another little victory. I feel like I have pretty good control over white rice now.

heya coco good job with the food control.. I printed out my borders coupon today and I am gonna get that book you mentioned "the end of overeating" I feel for sure that I am "winning the war" cause I mean i have lost a ton of weight.. but I would like to not lose so many battles. SO thanks for the info!

Each time you resist, it will get easier. As you keep resisting, the healthy eating will become a habit, and the fattening foods will seem a little distasteful.

Thanks, buddies! Lisa, you and Mr Coco are lucky to have that openness to the spiritual world. That is a gift I wish I had. @ Ceebee, I hope you get as much out of the book as I have. I keep it by my bedside and have been reading and re-reading passages from it to keep me motivated. @ Rune, you are right, resisting does get easier with practice. I even rehearse in my mind how what I will do before the situation arises. @ctlss, glad to have you as a new buddy!
