Another week and despite still being sick and not exercising another pound is gone. Huzzah!

I mentioned in ASM last night that I went out to my auxiliary closet to look for a beautiful black gown that I think of as my "Halloween dress". I haven't worn it in years but I was wondering if I might fit into it for an event this Saturday. That darn thing is a size 11! I am not sure I remembered I even fit into a size 11 as an adult!?

I held it up to myself and it looked like something for a child. I don't know whether to be amused or discouraged.... or encouraged that I might be that small again. I told my husband and his words were "encouraged or appalled".

The DH is being so supportive. I said 185 is one of my set points and he says he remembers me mostly at 160 which is also instructive. It means I have settled into thinking of myself as heavier. Part of me thinks my current weight is okay. So I here by say, "NO!" My goal is 175 by my birthday in January and I'm heading for 155, which I note is still 20 lbs more than I weighed in high school. I can be thin and I will be.

You go, Rowan. Don't settle for the weight you are...you can reach your goal, and wear that dress again..I know you can!! Yes, you WILL be thin!!
