Doorbell woke me up at 7:50am. Ugh. I am so not a morning person. Took the dog for his walk because hubby was busy; my usual gig is afternoons. It's a whole lot more pleasant in the morning, still hot but not sauna hot. I hope the fact that I'm still sweating an hour later means my metabolism is revved up.

Yesterday we watched Lidia's Italy cooking show and got some ideas for dinner today. I would love to have her as a personal chef! Couldn't have quite as much bread as she uses, but she had plenty of other fabulous dishes with just fish, veggies and olive oil.

The dish that struck my fancy had anchovies, roasted red peppers, giant black olives, parsley, capers and of course olive oil. I can't remember if it had tomatoes or not. But those items alone are a good foundation for a wonderful meal. I think she called it a poor man's salad.

Good morning! ; ) Looking at your weight chart. You are coming down so steadily! Awsome, I have slowed to a crawl and would love to say there is something wrong with by my body. The only thing I can think of is that I have really let down and allowed too many things distract me and allowed too much sugar back in my diet. Time to clean up my act.

Hiya DD! I am surprised that I'm dropping because I know I'm not exercising enough. You're probably developing muscle mass. Are you still recording what you eat in your nutrition software program?

For the most part yes. Yesterday no. I am feeling like it is more of and issue of choices and planning. Today I am going to clean out the fridge, plan my week's menus and get to the grocery store. I think I let my healthy snacks run low. I had a crazy busy week but I'm done and can get back to a good routine. Things aren't near as bad as it may sound. Just need to cut out sugar completely for a while to avoid its hold on me. Sugar and I have a love/hate relationship. ; )
