On the up side, I didn't eat a dozen donuts or a pound of bread and I still don't drink colas or sugared up coffee. On the down side, I have been hitting the chocolate candy pretty hard. I can still zip into my size 14 jeans, but I've got a raging case of muffin top.

It has been raining here almost every day lately. But we now have a carpeted indoor stairwell, so I can run up and down that thing for exercise.

Also, I got a Fitbit for Christmas. Very happy about that. But I need to learn its quirks to make sure I'm using it correctly. It seems a bit off.

Raging case of muffin top! LOL!! Oh, I wish I wasn't familiar with that statement, but sadly I've too been there. Stay focused girl!

jsfantome -- Chocolate owns me! I have discovered that more than bread or any other treat, that's the love I can't shake. So I'm trying to keep it to 85% dark chocolate, which is more satisfying and less sugary than the milky stuff.

ctlss - Hey Stef! I noticed that even without climbing any stairs at all, the Fitbit may show that I've climbed 4, 5 or even more staircases. I read where it has something like an airplane altimeter in it. I don't think I'm changing altitude when it does this. I also forget to switch it off when I go to bed, and I wonder if that throws off the current day's stats. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually.
