Day 5 on Whole 30 I know that I’m not supposed to be weighing myself on this diet as it’s not intended to be a weight loss diet. I can’t help myself because I can feel a difference In how my clothes fit, I can see it in my face and my tummy doesn’t look 4 months prego. I walked to a nearby gym to look into a membership. I’ve always been active but haven’t been since relocating. I had my body fat measured. It was 29%. That number freaked me out. It sounds so high. After I went to my complex pool and felt so uncomfortable being in a swimsuit in public. I couldn’t help but wonder when my body and I got into this war against each other. Started taking Synthroid today.

I know. I was just surprised by the number. It seemed so high.
The diet that I’m on was prescribed by my doc. I’m having problems with inflammation. My tummy looks like I’m pregnant and my face looks swollen. I also found out that I have hypothyroidism and started a med today. I’m praying that it will explain away the extreme fatigue and other issues that I’ve been experiencing
Regardless of how much I weigh, my body has changed and I don’t feel like myself. My posts aren’t to gain sympathy, they’re for me to be accountable to myself.
