It is such a gorgeous day in the Valley of the Sun! I'm sorry for those of you who are about to endure a weekend of cold rainy snowy weather. I'm having lunch at my favorite restaurant on the patio, with a friend that I didn't think I would ever get to see again.

i was on FaceTime (like Skype for Macs) with my oldest daughter last night, and she said, "Mom you look so small!" I'm feeling small(er). I was trying to remember when I was at a weight that I felt really slim, and it came to me this morning...when I was 19 I weighed about 170, and I went on some kind of diet, and got down to 145. It was at that weight that I remember the love handles at the tops of my hips were gone completely. I stayed at that weight for about 10 minutes, but I liked the way I felt. It might be too thin for me 35 years later, but I'm willing to do what it takes to be completely happy with my weight. I'm 5'8", someone asked me that recently on here, can't remember who. Normal BMI for my height is 122-164. I am now merely overweight, not obese, at 191. I'll get myself into the normal range and then reassess. Changing my goal weight to 164 today.

I think I am rethinking about my goals and how I have been approaching everything. Patience is still in place but I would like to go about this smarter if that's possible. But how? It hurts my brain. So cool your daughter noticed you lost weight. That is so neat. Hugs!
