I have a question. It's been less than a month since I joined FS, and I so appreciate that people do not criticize others whatever they are doing or not doing. But when someone asks a simple question, if they seem way off base, usually no one responds. I'm new, so don't think I should reply, but what about some of you seasoned dieters that are getting results. It's been wonderful that no one criticized me when I gave TMI about the problems in my life. One person suggested maybe I should go to therapy, which is prohibitively expensive, and with my messed up head. would takes years to straighten me out. Being that I am emotionally immature, maybe I could change and maybe I couldn't. I don't do Facebook or Twitter, and am rather isolated, so this has been quite an outlet for me. Back to my question. Yesterday, I did send a response to a person that may accept it or not. Mostly I just suggested Dr. Berg and Dr. Jason Fung. But as I see others here at FS, I can't help but feel their pain, but don't know if they would be willing to try another way. My daughter, husband, sister, niece, and sister-in-law won't. Actually most people won't. Is that why nobody says anything to people that eat lots of sweets or want to eat less fat? But they have joined FS and are reaching out. I thought about just telling my dieting story, but you know I'm very wordy, so don't think I could do it quickly.
