Back from a week at a cottage with lots of extended family. I didn’t overthink the eating , but definitely didn’t manage the 30 g of protein per meal that I have been trying to hit the last few weeks. Was pretty active while there so don’t think it jumped the scale. But now back at home for two days am having trouble getting out of the vacation eating mode and back to more conscious choices.

Definitely had a few more treats than I usually do over the past week and a half. It stated with some chips and then seems like then I just gave myself permission for all kinds of cookies and chips that I have been staying away from until then. Good news is excercise and daily movement are all still great and although my weight was up a wee bit now is back on track. So now to figure out how to have occasional treats without going overboard and without feeling guilty. I know many struggle with this.
