Gearing up to start the Whole 30 challenge! I'm really trying to psych myself up for this. This is exciting! I'll be exploring a new food plan and discovering new recipes!!!
On the other hand, I'm crazy tired and just want to deal with grab-and-go food (love my chimichangas!). My real hope is that this will turn things around and give me the alertness and energy I need to start living life again. This is going to be time intensive food prep. I'm ok. I've got this.
I really want a nap.

I've been doing the BPC for almost a week now and I've noticed that I'm more awake than normal but that I still feel like I could nap at the drop of a hat (thank goodness I don't wear hats, right?). I'm still struggling to focus (thanks ADHD, who doesn't want a brain full of squirrels) but less tired is a good start. I've actually unpacked AND washed my Instant Pot, glanced through the cookbook that came with it before getting distracted and forgetting to do the water test.
I still see these small things as progress and each step gets me closer to being able to focus on me enough to start working on the weight. I'm hoping to participate in a 30 day challenge starting this month (Whole 30) and I'm excited about the idea and totally intimidated by the food buying/prep part. lol

New starting point.
65 pounds sounds like so much but then again it sounds like not a lot.... right?? 65 cents is nothing, $65 isn't horrific. 65 pounds. If I paid myself $1 a pound what could I really buy myself (not food related)? Psych myself up, try this again. 65 isn't bad. I can do this. Get a plan, get it together and follow through. It's overwhelming to look at all at once so baby steps. I'm starting with BPC (bullet-proof coffee) and looking at a keto approach to eating (not a diet... why so many parenthesis??). Maybe start with Whole 30 to jump start this party bus. It's a party, not a funeral. Right.... Right!
AND DRINK YOUR WATER!!!! Slacker. :p
