Food for thought 💭
Intuitive eating is a skill that takes practice and spills over into all aspects of our lives. One has to be accommodating to any adjustments necessary but accountable to their choices.

IMO mindfulness has highlighted that everything has a hidden cost, similarly it’s added to my frustration with the health industry that misinforms the public of the nature of healthy eating habits and neglects to emphasise freedom in food choices and significance of gut health.

From, Keto to High protein , Low-fat or Low Carb, we are conditioned to eat less be perfect in order to be desirable, “healthier” and worthy. It is no surprise we get overwhelmed and start to self sabotage when such standards or unrealistic.

Granted sacrifice is a catalyst for growth but it should never be at the expense of wellbeing. Whatever strategy that leads to your fulfilment and commitment as an individual is one you should trust at all times. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed there is more to life than the number on the scale or what you consume.
