I have decided to recommit to my weight loss. Honestly, I have been half hearting it for this whole time. Recording my food intake, and kind of, sort of, aiming for a goal. Yes I had a goal of max calories, yes I had a goal of max carbs. But I just pat myself on the back when I did it, and shrugged when I didn't.

New goals!

165 grams of carbs for the day. I am currently pushing for 195. This is just 10 less carbs per meal! 10 carbs a meal isn't so much that I will not be eating, but it is a reduction.

8500 steps per day. I was shooting for 10,000. But I was doing the same thing, patting myself on the back when I did it, and shrugging when I didn't. Most days, I am getting in 6000 to 7000 steps. I don't think 8500 is too much to ask.

No spicy food until April. Things in my stomach have been weird the last couple of days. I think it might have to do with all the spicy food and hot sauce I love so much. I am going to take a quick break from it, and come back to it when I am sure I am not burning a hole in my stomach.

No more beer. That's right, I said it. No more beer. I can drink beer again when I do two things. 1 - reach my goal weight. 2 - start my homebrew process.

Drinking wine/liquor only once a week. Pick a day, and stick with it.

Start weighing in once a week. I have been weight in everyday. Then I started skipping days. Then I started weighing myself and refusing to record it because I went up from the day before. From now on, week to week, not day to day. Weight is too variable to record it every single day and not get discouraged because you went up, or think your safe when you fail on your diet and don't go up. Once a week it is.
