OOOOOOK.... Let's try this again. I think logging my food definitely helps to keep me on track. I still haven't found a good gym to keep me motivated like Core did. CrossFit is fun but I'm just so out of place. everyone runs and I bike. everyone does pullups and I do ring rows. I just don't keep up with the others and it's intimidating. gotta start small again to get motivated.
I get it. I can't measure myself against others, especially at this point in the journey. but it certainly helps with a support system. in 2018 when I got back on the horse, I started the program with my wife and had the Core accountability thing going. now I'm on it alone and it's just pretty difficult to stay motivated.
what I need to find is a network of successful business owners who take their health seriously and are open enough to let me into their circle. too much to ask? Hmmm....

Not even trying anymore. I feel good though. last couple of weeks have felt like progress. feeling good in the mornings. weight gain may have to do with the lack of water intake. might have to do with the 6 lbs of cream puffs I ate over the weekend 😂

Thought I was doing better than this. I feel a lot better this week improving my eating habits. even starting to get that "morning thinner" feeling again instead of waking up bloated. movement is getting easier and I'm not getting out of bed like an inverted turtle trying to get out of the sun. Kids birthday weekend so of course there was cake, popcorn, and plenty of pizza!
Today we begin the 16/8 IF and back to the GMB mobility training. I've never been one to watch the scale because that number just didn't matter to me as long as I was able to move and feel good about it. that's my goal! Weight is a measure of Gravity. that's mother earth's problem. not mine! 😂

Nice little jump. Covid shut down kicked my ass in 2020. I let go all of the progress I've made since 2018. Gyms shut down. Nutrition went to hell because of sitting around the house all the time. BUUUUUT.... I did it once, I've done it twice, maybe even done it 5 times! I know where I am and what I need to do! so let's rock it again and hit that 250 marker!

I hate this isolation! Well, who am I kidding. I love it! LOL It's the closed gyms that I can't stand. 7 meals a day and only half the activity I'm used to is driving me nuts. muscles tightening and mobility decreasing. yeah, it's my own fault because I can be exercising and stretching at home but why? my couch is so much more comfy! 😁
