Not sleeping and working too much. I need balance. Diet is still descent.

had a couple of rough days at work this week , had to do overtime and didnt really cheat on the diet plan but didnt stick to just the shakes , even had 2 cookies, and the last piece of pumpkin pie (they were great btw) so could have lost more but I am happy with the results i am seeing.

Hi Everyone... and Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadian peeps. So week 1 back on JJ Virgin's diet plan, ( The no bad food list : Gluten, eggs, dairy, peanuts, corn, SUGAR, soy), is going great. Down 4 lbs even though I only worked out twice...work sure gets in the way of living doesn't it :) I will try to be more diligent with the workouts as I truly believe some sort of movement, be it yoga, jogging, hiking, rowing whatever makes you feel bliss, is necessary for every human being. My sciatica is really pissing me off. If someone could remind me or ask if I made my chiropractors appointment that would be great. I never seem to have time to call for Dr appointments. not raining today Yay! so will take the dog for a nice walk and then do a leg workout that didn't happen the way I wanted to yesterday because of my low back issues and then some yoga. Have a great day everyone get out there and breathe some fresh air.

so I didn't actually weigh myself but I have been hovering at 172ish for over a month. I am Restarting the JJ Virgin diet ( 1st 21 days no bad food list) ...but as I had success on the 21 day portion and lost it once i started the reintroducing the bad food list portion, I am keeping them out until I am down to at least 150lbs ...we will jump off that bridge when we get there. Refresher NO Eggs, Gluten, Dairy, Corn, Soy,Sugar, Artificial Sugars or Peanuts. Anyone want to join in on the adventure ??? It actually wasn't that difficult and don't know why it has taken me 2 months to decide it was a good plan. I felt 100% healthy losing these foods. This is day 1. For breakfast, I had plant based protein powder, 1/2 c frozen fruit 1 tbsp of flax seeds, in 1 cup of cold water and blended. For lunch I will have 1/2 an apple, with 1/4 avocado and flax in the protein shake . Very satisfying surprisingly. I will be more diligent with the weigh ins. I really prefer to see how my clothes fit to judge weight loss because of water retention etc but hey its a way to gauge :) Here's to your health . so yay...the needle on the scale seems to like me these days. not an overnight success but then again the weight gain didn't happen overnight either. I highly recommend the JJ Virgin's books " the Virgin Diet" and the cook book with hundreds of great recipes ideas in it. If you eat well exercise and still don't see the weight coming off then you may have food sensitivities. I went through the process of not eating the 7 bad foods for 21 days plus a few extra to make sure :) and have had great success finally with getting my weight loss back on track. I also won't be adding Gluten back to my diet. I am still in the process of adding back some of those foods ( you do that 1 week at a time with one food item). 7 high sensitivity foods : Gluten, Corn, Soy, Dairy, Eggs, Peanuts, Sugar .
