I don't feel as tired as I was feeling the first week. Still, no big energy spikes either. I am hanging tight to see if they come. I have been really concerned about the details of my diet. I know I take in way too much artificial sweetener... another vice altogether. The time to work on lessing it or eliminating it is coming closer. Also, I am worried about the calories. This RDI thing says I need 2400 calories a day! I know I am a big girl but is the 2400 really gonna help me loose? I haven't had that many anyway. Is the RDI Atkins compatible? I don't know how others feel but eating the Atkins way, or at least the induction way really curbs my appetite! It's amazing! Sometimes it's all I can do to eat up to 1400! Today I had a ribeye sooooo... no problem getting those calories up! Plus I had two Atkin's products- again with the artificial sweet... But what is really sweet is that I am not a slave to the fridge/cabinet/pantry/drive thru/cake isle!! I love the feeling of power to say no!

I am having a Willow House party this evening and the theme is Chocolate and Chicks. ??? Wish I would have known a month ago I was going to give up chocolate!
Last night I made chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered oreos, white with pink flowers. I ate dinner before messing with it and didn't even want to eat my creations or sample while preparing them- but I did catch myself ALMOST lick the chocolate from my fingers. No telling how many carbs are in a lick! Could I put that in my food journal- "1 lick of white chocolate"? HAHA Anyway, I did good. My coworkers were asking how I can have a party and stay on this "crazy" diet. I said, I don't know but all I can do is try. Honestly, this way of eating has been a blessing in that I don't feel too tempted as long as I am eating! I have only had a few days where I have had a strong urge for some sort of high carb junk but I can say for certain as long as I eat according to plan I am not hungry. What a blessing. Now, let's see some of this weight come off!

I know I have said before the scale doesn't really matter as much as the difference my clothes feel as I loose weight. HOWEVER, this back and fourth with 1.5 pounds may send me over the edge! Can a girl just work hard and loose some weight? What made me chuckle a little is when I went to record it, I got a message saying at this rate of loss I will be at my goal weight in 4 months! :) Without surgery or some serious life stressors, but are unwanted at this time thanks, I won't be loosing 150+ pounds that fast. I am aiming for weight loss not sanity loss. I hope and pray everyone of us has a great day!

I have thought all morning about eating carbs. Still low on energy. I thought the exercise from the weekend would help kick me into feeling better but it hasn't yet. I have had tons of water and I have had salt, as recommended for those starting induction for feeling dizzy, etc. Just thought it may help, and it hasn't. Maybe I am just not an energetic person. :(
I have lost a little weight, a drop in the bucket really, but that's not the problem here. I just want to feel more like taking a walk or cleaning my house instead of forcing myself.
