Had family stay with us from three weeks. I was doing really well on my diet and was worried about maintaining through the holidays. With another family and lots of entertaining you have to be flexible. I tried really hard to be good with breakfast and lunch so if dinner was not as controlled I could hold the calories down. I did have a couple of nights
when I just relaxed and enjoyed, but overall I found those safe foods and tried to work those in at night. Family has returned home, and I got vigilant about dieting again, actually afraid to weigh. Today, I did, and was pleasantly surprised. Now i'm back on track working toward my goal.

Trying to start the diet for a day or so and then get back on track with exercise. Hoping I can get it all going by the weekend on a regular basis. Staying way too busy and being stressed even trying to work in exercise class when I am working kept me from making any progress. I'd just not handle the stress well and snack after a day of being good.

I know that a diet has to be something that just feels right for me.
I have been very successful in the past, but once I lose focus, I have trouble maintaining. I depend on being able to exercise mornings because I can't seem to find time once I get home which is often late.
I would like to find the balance that has worked for me before.
I also want to find something that is so easy that I don't have to think hard about it. Getting started is always the hardest part... but I am determined!

I had a great year and really lost a lot. Somehow, I got too stressed, and gained it back.
