I've been exhausted. I get up eat and then go back to sleep. Up for lunch, back to bed and I miss dinner. I wake up around 9 or 9:30. Then I grab something quick to eat. Then I'm not really sure what to do about Novolog and Lantus. To make matters worse my lift chair broke so there is nowhere to sit let alone lean back and rest. I have a wheelchair so I've been spending most of my time either in my office or in bed. We could have had our new furniture last Wednesday but Ernie wanted to wait a week so we could prepare the livingroom. We have appointments on Monday and Tuesday. More good news for me. I not only have a new recliner that rocks and has cup holder and table, I am going to start diabetes classes this month. I also am looking into a getting a "continuing glucose monitor." Hoping insurance will cover. Already have a case manager looking into it. Weight is not going the right way but figure by next week. Oh yeah, yesterday I became a grandmother of twins.

GOOD GIRL! Weight going down, A1C going down. Walking improving. Shopping for clothes 2 sizes smaller. I have a T-Shirt that I'm in love with but it is a size 5X and now it looks like a tent. While looking for new tops, I found that it is still for sale. I ordered it in a 3X. This week I also bought 3 pairs of shoes. It is so wonderful that I am not walking out of them. I realized last week that much of the problem I was having with the pain in my foot came from trying to keep them on my feet. Squinching the toes and so on. Now all I need to do is have two links taken out of my watch and have my rings resized. I need to take off my watch every time I wash my hands as it slips down onto my palm. My rings just spin around constantly. This is much better than needing to buy all new things because the old ones are too tight. We are going this weekend to see Willie Wonka but on by grade school kids at the local theater. My granddaughter is supposed to be the lead. WOW! Also next week my granddaughter goes to LA to film for a nationwide commercial for a bank. We are all excited. Maybe I should get her signature now. LOL
