I'm really battling my sugar cravings. I'm still off of potatoes and pasta, but sure would love to eat a big old candy bar right now. I think I'll fry up an apple today. Maybe that will help.
My blood test last week showed my A1C at 6.5. I need to lose at least 25 more pounds to make this go away.
I will begin Diabetes Education Classes on June 22 to help me understand all of this.

I took my last Prednisone today. I hope it will help my appetite issues from now on.
I visited a nutrition educator today to help me deal with my diabetes. I want to lose weight, but I can't stop eating since I need a consistent amount of carbs each meal (30) to maintain my glucose levels. She gave me a ton of information and I'll attend four training sessions in June. I really want to get a handle on this.

I'm dealing with Diverticulitis with an infection in my colon. Taking Prednisone for bronchitis and lots of antibiotics.
This situation has resulted in constipation for several weeks. Now that I'm getting better, the constipation has abated and I'm feeling better. You know how someone will mention that a person is full of it?? In my case, it was true. LOL
Just going to walk as much as possible today and keep the green arrow going down.
